Alan Greenfield Taylor Fry

Alan co-founded Taylor Fry in 1999, helping to establish the actuarial business and, later, our expansion into analytics. He now works with clients across a range of practice areas to make a difference in people’s lives using big data.

In 2015, he was awarded Actuary of the Year by the Actuaries Institute for his contribution in developing the investment approach to public policy making.

Alan initiated Taylor Fry’s position on sustainability and, as a result, in 2013 we achieved carbon neutrality over our entire history.

Before founding Taylor Fry, Alan was a consultant at Tillinghast Towers Perrin and Coopers & Lybrand, working in Sydney, London, Chicago and New York.

Alan’s Qualifications
  • Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia
