Grainne McGuire Taylor Fry

Gráinne develops statistical models of future liabilities, capital needs and further insights for accident compensation schemes, government social welfare and other insurances.

She designs and implements production prediction tools, such as dynamic financial analysis for a national accident compensation scheme and forecast systems for social welfare.

Before joining us in 2002, Gráinne conducted research in the United Kingdom at the universities of Edinburgh and Reading. She developed statistical models using DNA data to analyse viral and bacterial species, including HIV, and produced open-source software for research scientists. She has written several actuarial papers and presentations on stochastic modelling and reserving.
